While easybranding was looking for a suitable buyer in the previous months, we at hummingbirds were searching for a larger nest to expand our marketing activities. Both parties quickly reached an agreement, making the acquisition of easybranding by hummingbirds official as of June 1, 2022. Hummingbirds is a full-service marketing agency that primarily supports SMEs from West and East Flanders with all imaginable marketing activities. Over the past ten years, easybranding has mainly developed into a strategic design agency. Their experience in strategic branding for companies is considered a valuable addition to the existing wide range at hummingbirds. The mission remains unchanged: to help local businesses grow.
In addition to the acquisition of easybranding, a physical move is also taking place. The team at hummingbirds will soon be relocating to Morinnestraat 7, where easybranding was previously located. “Given the strong growth of hummingbirds, a move was necessary. The fact that we can also add the expertise of easybranding to our team makes the story even better,” says manager Mieke De Weerdt. “Both teams also turn out to be highly complementary, which makes me confident that it will provide great added value for everyone. And certainly for our clients as well.”
An opinion shared by Tineke Rosseel, who has been the face of easybranding for many years. She will remain on board at hummingbirds as a brand consultant, along with her right-hand woman Karen Vermeersch. “With this acquisition, we are combining our strengths and together we are strengthening our market position,” says Tineke. “Hummingbirds is now more than ever a one-stop-shop for all your marketing and sales needs.”
